Hi! Sorry I missed y'all yesterday - turned out to be an extremely busy day & I didn't get to sit down here until late. I was so tired by then, I barely managed to get through checking my e-mails, so I put my blog post off until today. I've got two cards to share with you - I've made more, but I didn't want to bore you showing the same or similar cards over and over. Figured I'd just take the primary ideas & share those.
This first one is on a 5x7 pre-made base, with some blue/green Prima background paper, a white cotton lace, some baby blue Stickles on the eyelet portion of the lace (it looked like snowflakes to me). The image is from last month's TAC Vintage set, "Fall & Winter Whimsy," and I colored her with my COPIC markers. I drew in the horizon line to ground her a bit, then chalked the ground & the sky. I also used my buttermilk SPICA & accented the lights on the tree & the flower centers. Here she is up close...
And this one below uses two TAC sets..."Good Timber" for the pine branches, stamped in cottage ivy ink, and "Joy of Christmas." I used gold & copper Brilliance inks by Tsukeniko for the sentiment and "ornaments," hand drew the hangers & left it as simple as I possibly could. I'm not totally happy with it...but it doesn't suck rocks either! *LOL*
I'll have some more card ideas for you tomorrow. Thanks for stopping by & have a great rest of your day!!
